Taking care of your Sahara period pants and period swimwear is easy. Follow these steps to ensure your period underwear and swimwear stays absorbent and fresh for years.
Period Underwear
- Pre-wash: Before you wear your period underwear for the first time, wash in cold water with mild detergent (hand wash or gentle machine wash) to activate absorbency.
- Rinse: After wearing, rinse your period pants in cold water until it runs clear to remove excess blood and prevent staining. Never use hot water.
- Machine wash: Wash with your delicates at 30°C. Use a delicates wash bag if possible, and a mild detergent without fabric softeners.
-
Hang to dry: After washing, hang your period pants to dry. Avoid using the dryer as high heat can potentially damage the fabric and elastic components. Once your period underwear is completely dry, they are ready to wear again.
